As a family photographer here in Switzerland, I love to see returning babies come back for their milestone photos - generally taken aged 6-9 months. By this time your little bundle of joy really is giving you something to laugh about as playtime has really cranked up a notch! They have now been in the world exactly as long as they have been in the womb and wow, look at all the changes that have taken place in BOTH your lives.

The 9 month milestone is a great age to photograph, and very different from your newborn photo shoot. Generally the newborn shoot is about 3-4 hours long and it is a very relaxed session, where you have lots of time to watch the shoot unfold, snack and catch up on all your social media. With a 9 month session however we are looking at 40 mins to hour max and you are very much involved, after all you are the number ONE playmate! Being fast is the name of the game with these photo shoots! Babies at this age are not known for their patience, so I set up my shots quickly and move on to the next one before the baby gets tired of performing and decides to call it a day. This very session took place at one of our beloved outdoor spots (no, not in the mountains) and oh boy, we had a blast!
